A lovely little coffee shop right outside Dunster castle. Their scones, macaroons and chutney are truly amazing. We will be coming back.

A traditional village coffee shop, used by both locals, and visitors. Small space, very intimate, with low ceiling, wooden tables & chairs and a wooden floor. Excellent, friendly service, by people that obviously care for their clientele. Offered useful information on what to do and how to find local facilities. Home made cakes to delight every taste (I had an amazing salted caramel chocolate brownie). Good prices. Very clean toilets; and there is a baby changing facity as well. I'd definitely use this coffee shop again if I was in the area.

From outside it looked closed but having tried the door, realised it was open. Received a warm welcome on entry. Food was good but sadly no hot meals were on the menu but homemade cheese scone ploughman's was delicious.

Hidden floral gem. Simple food done very well, in a lovely floral environment and pleasant service with a smile. We came across this little cafe on our search for the castle and had a lovely lunch. It’s a little less obvious than other cafes on the street but this is lovely when you see the efforts made in side. There is a lovely court yard garden and beautiful mural on the wall of Dunster. The food was just what we wanted and our toddler loved it too!

I visit Castle Coffee House every week, it’s my favourite tearoom in Dunster. Delicious coffee, beautiful tearoom, the loveliest staff and the best fresh homemade doughnuts I’ve ever had. I’d recommend to everyone and anyone!

Had a Delicious plain scone with clotted cream and jam and a pot of tea after a walk around the castle/ gardens. Dog friendly , friendly staff, quick service, relaxing atmosphere and delicious treats.
